Information Specially formulated to give a perfect gloss finish on both interior and exterior wood and metal surfaces in one coat, Dulux Once Gloss in Pure Brilliant White is a reliable paint with excellent coverage and a fantastic high gloss finish. You get a brilliant white too, so this is a great choice to brighten up your woodwork and metal surfaces. No undercoat needed. No need for an undercoat One coat guaranteed Great coverage High gloss finish Whilst leading edge technology has been used in the development of this product, the nature of solvent based paints means that they will discolour over time. The rate of discolouration is faster in areas with low natural or UV light. For long lasting whiteness we recommend we recommend Dulux Quick Dry Gloss Make sure that the area you are painting is clean, dry and free from grease. Remove flaking or defective paint and sand down the surface to remove any residual sheen from the previous paintwork. Refer to health and safety and environmental information before beginning the project. If you're painting radiators, they must not be warm. Tip: Newly painted doors and windows should not be closed and radiators should not be heated until paint is fully dry. Before you start, stir the paint thoroughly in the tin, to ensure that it's completely mixed. This will help you get nice even coverage. Apply the paint using a good quality, clean brush or mini roller. If possible work in the direction of the wood grain. Apply one even, thick coat. Be sure not to spread it too far. This is particularly important, as failure to do so can result in a second coat being needed, especially if you're painting over a darker colour with a lighter colour. Allow to dry for 16 hours, apply another coat if needed.
